Notes:

  • Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished 10th in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.
  • Both Trackhouse Chevrolets were faster than their finishes indicate. Suárez pitted from second with 26 laps to go only to have an air gun malfunction slowing the pit stop and dropping him back to 24th.
  • He rallied over the final laps to finish 10th – his best career finish at Darlington.
  • Both Trackhouse Chevrolets carried Coca-Cola paint schemes nearly identical to the scheme raced by Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the 1998 non-points race in Motegi, Japan.
  • The schemes were part of NASCAR’s Official Throwback Weekend in Darlington.
  • NASCAR Cup Series returns to action Sunday in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Coca-Cola Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“It was a good day for our No. 99 Coca-Cola Chevrolet team. I feel like we did a good job making adjustments. Track position was huge and the pit crew did an amazing job all day. We only had one issue there, but there’s nothing we can do about that. It’s not 100 percent under our control. We have to keep working and keep building. I feel like we can be better and come back stronger.”
