  • At the end of the first stage the team brought the No. 99 to the garage for further repairs before returning to the track.

  • There was no practice or qualifying for Sunday’s race.
  • The Cup Series returns to action Sunday, July 18 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. NBCSN will televise Sunday’s race at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Good Sam Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“I don’t even know what to say. I guess we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The guys did a good job keeping us racing. Just very disappointed because we knew we had a fast car. We will dig ourselves out of this hole. I can guarantee you that. We are bringing fast cars to the track. If we keep doing that we are going to be fine.”
