Races July 2, 2025July 2, 2025 Average Day at the Pennsylvania Tricky Triangle Date: June 22nd, 2025 Event: The Great American Getaway 400 (Round 17 of 36) Series: NASCAR Cup Series Location: Pocono Speedway (2.5-mile triangle) Format: 160 laps, broken into three stages (30 laps/65 laps/65 laps) Start/Finish: 10th / 15th (running, completed 160 of 160 laps) Point Standing: 27th with 296 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suárez finished 15th in Sunday’s rain-delayed, 400-mile NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. Suárez raced in and out of the top-10 throughout the 160 laps and restarted the race in 11th with 30 laps remaining. Unfortunately, the No. 99 didn’t have the handling it needed to contend for victory and finished 15th. Suárez started 10th. All three Trackhouse Racing Chevrolets went forward at the drop of the green flag in Stage 1 which ran without a caution. Suárez raced as high as sixth before falling to 35th when he pitted in the closing laps for better track position in Stage 2. raced as high as sixth in Stage 2 before finishing 18th. Rain and lightning delayed the start of the race by more than two hours on Sunday before it concluded in the early evening. The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action on Saturday, June 28, for the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We started the race OK on the short run, but then in the final stage, we just lost the balance of the car a little bit. We were just way too tight and never got it back.”
