Motor Speedway (.533-mile, dirt oval) Format: 250 laps, broken into three stages (75 laps/75 laps/100 laps) Start/Finish: 21st / 12th (completed 250 of 250 laps) Point Standing: 16th with 212 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished 12th in Sunday night’s rain-filled NASCAR Cup Series race on the dirt at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. Suárez started 21st and held his own in the early going finishing 23rd in Stage 1. Suárez stayed out during the first stage break and restarted first. As rain began falling, Suárez led the next 64 laps and battled his teammate Ross Chastain before he was passed for the lead by Christopher Bell. Suárez finished Stage 2 in third. Rain halted the race for about an hour during the break between the second and third stages. When the weather cleared, Suárez restarted 24th after pitting. A second red flag for rain stopped the race for 16 minutes with 28 laps to go. The race restarted and saw Suárez drive from 17th to 12th.
