Superspeedway. In the final 13-lap shootout, Suárez raced as high as fourth amid two- and three-abreast racing, but he could not make a bid for victory. A seven-car accident at the start-finish line damaged the No. 99 and left him with the 10th-place finish. Suárez started the race in the back of the pack before working his way up to the front. In the second stage, Suárez made a late charge to claim sixth place despite a suspected engine power issue.
