Notes:

  • Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished seventh in Sunday’s 39th-annual NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway.
  • Suárez started first, after he won Saturday’s heat race, and led the first 54 laps before fading to third at the halfway mark behind cars that took on new tires. In second half, he held his position until late in the race when his tires lost grip and he dropped to sixth.
  • Sunday’s race marked the first NASCAR Cup Series event at the .625-mile track since 1996.
  • The next race is Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600. Fox will broadcast the race at 6 p.m. EDT.
