  • Suárez started third Sunday. The Minute Maid Aguas Frescas driver pitted in the final laps and finished sixth in the first stage.
  • In the second stage Suárez suffered a slow pitstop and fell back to 17th.
  • Pitting in the second stage allowed Suárez to start the final stage in eighth. Another slow pitstop caused him to fall back to 11th before suffering contact with the 20 car.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Minute Maid Aguas Frescas Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“I thought our Aguas Frescas Chevrolet was pretty good today. We didn’t have enough grip to win the race but we were good for a top-10 maybe a top-five. Our day ended in the wreck. I don’t know what happened there. I thought I had given him plenty of room. We have four more races this year and plan to close the season strong.”
