  • Daniel Suárez finished 20th in Sunday’s rain-filled NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.
  • The finish kept Suárez 22nd in the season standings after 22 races.
  • Suárez took the green flag in 31st, but rain and track drying forced a one-hour, 45 minute pause on lap 9.
  • Racing resumed and the No. 99 climbed to 23rd by the end of the first stage.
  • Suárez moved to 19th by the end of the second stage.
  • In both stages, the No. 99 was better on long green-flag runs. Suárez turned in top-five lap times late in the runs.
  • The final stage ran caution free with Suárez finishing 20th.
  • Darkness forced NASCAR to end the race eight laps before the scheduled finish.
  • There was no practice or qualifying for Sunday’s race.
  • The Cup Series will take a two-week break before returning to action Sunday, Aug. 8 at Watkins Glen International. NBCSN will televise Sunday’s race at 3 p.m. EDT.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Good Sam Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“We just couldn’t get our car to turn like we needed to today. We were pretty good on long runs, but we wanted better. We have some work to do, but will get it figured out.”
