Suárez holds steady at tenth in the driver championship point standings. Suárez started third in the No. 7 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 following last week’s win at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, and finished Stage 1 in 11th despite handling and brake issues. The 34-year-old driver collected the Stage 2 win after driving from 34th in Stage 2 to the top five before staying out under caution to inherit the lead. Suárez started the Final Stage in 27th and briefly ran inside the top five, but a pit stop late in the race relegated the team to a 19th-place finish.
